The FFTEC Motorsports V3 Intake Manifold (V3IM) improves upon its two predecessors key horespower and torque adding features while shedding weight and incorporating modularity with factory components! In short, lighter, easier installation, less modification and more power potential than before! FFTEC dyno and track tested this product on the most popular turbo's (big 16g, 18g, GT30R, GT35R, PTE6262 and PTE6766) before releasing this product to the public. Dyno tests show the redesign has little to no loss in low end torque on 16g applications and massive increase over stock manifolds in high RPM horsepower with larger turbochargers.
FFTEC Motorsports redesigned the velocity stacks and runners to optimize performance in limited space. The velocity stacks are now raised with a larger inlet area while the runners offer a more gradual transition than before that constantly decreases in size which increases the velocity of airflow. The throttle body is offset toward the top of the plenum aiding in even distribution of airflow while minimizing intercooler pipe modification.
FFTEC Motorsports V3IM uses CNC cut flanges for precision fitment. The cylinder head flange matches the factory inlets. The throttle body inlet utilizes the stock bolt pattern allowing several throttle body options including stock 1g or 2g, bored out stock 1g or 2g, BBK DSM, Boomba and S90 70mm.
The FFTEC V3IM features four 1/8"tapped female ports that are strategically placed for convenience of installation. For an additional charge of $50.00 FFTEC Motorsports can have a provision for the factory MDP (aka MAP) sensor welded in place.
